It's not the first time these chants rang out at UBS Arena, but they are getting steadily louder. Last night, fans of the New York Islanders chanted loudly for the team to fire its head coach. A member of the team doesn't like it at all.

Casey Cizikas told reporters after the game that fans who want Lane Lambert fired should consider staying home.

"It's a joke. It's a joke. That kind of stuff ticks me off. It really does. I've got no time for those fans. I've got no time for them."

"If they want to be like that, they can stay home."

Teammate Bo Horvat said he has full faith in the Islanders coaching staff.

"They're a well-prepared group in there. I truly believe that we have a really good group of hockey players in here and a really good hockey team."

Lane Lambert has coached the New York Islanders to a 5-5--3 record so far this season. Last season, his first full one as a head coach, Lambert managed a 42-31-9 record, good enough for fourth in the Metropolitan Division. The Islanders were then eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.
