Chicago Blackhawks place player on waivers to terminate his contract
Yesterday the Boston Bruins placed 36-year-old, Anton Stralman on waivers. The Bruins had hopes of sending the veteran to the AHL if he cleared. Today the Bruins were informed the veteran did Infact clear waivers.
Stralman signed a one-year, $1MM contract with Boston in October. Stralman has suited up for 8 games this season, failing to record a point, while averaging 15:22 in ice time.
The Chicago Blackhawks have placed forward Jakub Pour on unconditional waivers for the purpose of contract termination.
The 23 year old, has played in the ECHL so far this season. He has appeared in 15 games scoring 5 points.
After Pour clears he can sign another AHL/NHL deal or he could opt for the more likely route of going to Europe to continue his career.
