Colorado Avalanche and Chipotle partner for unique intermission experience
NHL teams are always looking for ways to generate revenue. Strategic partnerships, sponsorship agreements and whatever else you can think of. The Colorado Avalanche recently partnered with Mexican Restaurant Chipotle and they came up with this unique intermission show for fans.
It appears this new intermission advertising uses augmented reality to generate the imagery. While a very cool concept this advertisement is slightly tainted by the fact that we all know Nate MacKinnon wouldn't allow a teammate to have a carb during the playoffs.
