Connor Bedard's mother forced to take action online after fake rumour scandal
The Chicago Blackhawks have been in hot water over the past couple of days after being very secretive about why forward Corey Perry was being placed on waivers for the purpose of terminating his contract. One such rumour of course involved rookie sensation Connor Bedard's mom Melanie.
Now, it appears as if Melanie Bedard has had to delete her social media account Instagram amid the abhorrent rumours involving Perry and herself; take a look.
I can't even imagine the comments or what the Bedard family has had to endure the past few days, but whatever it is, having to delete her social media account to get away from the comments means they must have been pretty harsh.
This goes to show, that rumours, no matter who reports them, can be damaging to people and their families. Maybe the person that started this will think about their actions next time instead of putting out false information.
