Connor McDavid demands something of his teammates, proving he wants to win
Connor McDavid is the best player in the world, but unfortunately, the Edmonton Oilers just haven't found a way to make the prime of his career count yet. McDavid is focused on one thing and one thing only this upcoming season and this proves it.
According to Marc Spector of Sportsnet, McDavid is demanding that the rest of his Oiler teammates take his captain skates more seriously this year as they prep for the upcoming season; take a look.
While the Oilers have been steadily improving since McDavid's arrival, they haven't been able to make it past the Western Conference Final, something that has been a sore spot for McDavid as his competitive fire runs deep.
Making sure his team is more organized during the captain skates will not only mean that the team should be able to gel sooner than season's prior, but he's forcing everyone to get into the winning mindset from the start.
This can only be a good thing for the Edmonton Oilers and it proves that McDavid wants to win above all else, something that Oilers fans should be really excited about.
