While I get he doesn't feel like it's a great way to end the game, it really displays players' individual skills, and would McDavid really want a game to end in a tie? We saw how Columbus and Tampa Bay went for 5 OTs in the bubble. Endless 3 v 3 is a solution, but I'm not sure 5 overtime periods are sustainable.
