Hockey is a fast paced, full contact sport should you decide to play it at a competitive level, but at a certain point, all players want to do is play recreationally. That's where recreational hockey leagues come in to play, as we know though, sometimes recreational men's leagues are where things get the most heated.
Recently, in the Adult Safe Hockey League a very dangerous brawl broke out during a game, resulting in multiple players swinging their sticks at one another, among other things; take a look.
Dangerous brawl breaks out in Toronto men's league with multiple players using their stick as a weapon.
It appears to all start during a stoppage in play where a player wearing a teal jersey skates to the bench and appears to swing their stick at a player on the bench, this of course drives the opposing team to retaliate and all hell breaks lose.
The result of this is of course multiple fights breaking out and more than a few people swinging sticks at each other as fights break out all over the ice.
This kind of display is atrocious to say the least, fighting at any level is one thing, but using your stick as a weapon is something entirely different.
To say the Adult Safe Hockey League should not only change their name, but ban those players involved for life would be an understatement.
