There are many codes of hockey that one should never break. There are certain ones such as making sure your jersey never touches the floor, or don't step on the logo in your dressing room. But one restaurant in Denver manged to break both of these rules and then some.
The West Saloon & Kitchen in Denver offers a welcome sign for Colorado Avalanche fans at the front door. The restaurant wants you to make sure that your footwear is clean when entering the restaurant so they put something extra on the floor to clean them off.
Having a Tamp Bay jersey along the entrance for guests to wipe their feet on is perfect bulletin board material for the Tampa Bay Lightning. This is an obvious breach of the code and shows a ton of disrespect towards the Lightning. I'm sure we'll see something soon at a local Tampa Bay restaurant doing something in retaliation soon. It's Florida so the possibilities are endless.
