It obviously has been a very disappointing start for Tarasenko, who was sure he would get a deal with term as soon a July 1st hit, that didn't happen, as a result, he wants to sign soon in order to play next season.
Tarasenko, 31 had a pretty good season last year, and if he's willing to a pay cut to around 4 million he would give the Panthers good production while being relatively cheap on a short term deal.
