Hockey is a fast-paced physical sport and most of the time players do whatever they can to gain an advantage as they should. However, the overly egregious dives and over the top attempts to draw penalties wear thin, no matter who you are. It's been a problem for young Ottawa Senators star Tim Stutzle since he entered the National Hockey League.
Last night was no different wgen the Senators took on the Seattle Kraken at home when Stutzle drew this penalty; take a look.
Justin Schultz unhappy with this interference call.
Feels like every time these teams meet, Tim Stutzle draws the ire of a Kraken player for diving/selling a call.
Stutzle is a talented young playe, but these kind of antics need to stop if he wants to be respected in the NHL. Odds are this was going to be a penalty either way, there was absolutely no need to jump into the back of Justin Schultz and sell his fall.
There's no reason for Stutzle to keep doing things like this; it just keeps putting a larger and larger target on his band, especially when the Senators play the Kraken
