Fight breaks out in the crowd at Edmonton Oilers season opener
The NHL season is less than a week old, but that hasn't stopped tempers from flaring during the Edmonton Oilers first game of the season. Last night in Edmonton the Oilers hosted the Vancouver Canucks. While tempers didn't flare on the ice they certainly got heated off of it.
The footage starts when a Vancouver Canucks fan apparently tries to intervene in a fight happening in a row ahead of him. Unfortunately for his troubles he caught a couple of shots from an angry Oilers fan.
After a kick is thrown it appears a female fan was able to calm things down between those involved. Hopefully there were no serious injuries. There have been no updates on anyone involved.
