John Tortorella continues to rip his entire team publicly
John Tortorella is legendary, not for winning a Stanley Cup once, but for the soundbites thanks to YouTube compilations like the video below.
Today he added another soundbite as he publicly tore into the Philadelphia Flyers team he was hired to coach.
Tortorella with no hesitancy admitted that the team has no identity and I wonder how the locker room took it, also in the same breath admitted he couldn't find anything good about the team to build upon as well.
Chuck Fletcher hired Torts with the intention of turning the team around like he did the Blue Jackets in his 6 years there.
This is supposedly his last season coaching, as a one-and-done year with a plan to be successful in the city of brotherly love.
However, his comments sound like the old school Torts we all know, which in his last year in Columbus wasn't so prevalent.
