Former NHLer gives his thoughts on the Boston Bruins signing Mitchell Miller
Joel Ward is a notable player for working his way into the big show from Canadien College Hockey into the AHL and finally establishing himself as a clutch player on multiple NHL teams, including the San Jose Sharks who made it to the Stanley Cup Finals in 2016.
Since the Boston Bruins decided to break the internet by signing Mitchell Miller, the bully who made a disabled schoolmate's life miserable with racism and was infamous for making him lick a lollipop contaminated in a urinal.
Ward offered his perspective on the topic:
It's highly unlikely that the NHL or Boston Bruins will take this into advisement, as it's shown that justice isn't as profitable as catering to the unjust.
More or less, the answer is yes and even the Arizona Coyotes were sensible enough to cut ties, even in light of their controversies this was a win they took.
The recently established Hockey Diversity Alliance is seen as an outlier now, in a sport that has paid lip service to various topics that include racism which explains how Mitchell Miller was able to slither his way into a spot in the Bruins system.
If you take a look at their website, the NHL isn't a partner which says all about where their motives lie.
Ward was right to tear into Don Sweeney and Cam Neely for their indiscretions.
