Hot mic captures Patrick Kane cursing at Seth Jones for awful decision making
It's going to be a long season for the Chicago Blackhawks, that is clear. The Hawks officially entered a rebuild at last year's trade deadline. With that rebuild there will assuredly be growing pains. What a lot of people, Patrick Kane included, didn't expect was those growing pains to also include bone headed plays by Seth Jones.
During the second period of last night's game, with the Hawks on the powerplay Jones made a rather odd decision. With the Hawks in possession of the puck instead of holding the line Jones back pedals into the neutral zone. As he back pedals he receives a pass, making the Hawk's players all offside.
While the announces were confused by Jones' decision, so was Patrick Kane. A frustrated Kane yells out at his teammate:
Where the fuck are you going?
This decision by Jones makes absolutely no sense to anyone who has played the game. It's likely going to be a very long season in Chicago for Kane, especially if the team's $9,500,000 defenseman keeps making decisions like this.
