Hot mic captures linesman's response to getting drilled by a slapshot
Being an NHL official can be a very tough job. You have to be at the right place at the right time, but unfortunately sometimes that comes with taking your lumps. That's exactly what happened to linesman, Kiel Murchison.
As the Chicago Blackhawks carried the puck into the Bruins zone they attempted to dump it in hard. Unfortunately for Murchison as much as he tried he couldn't avoid the puck. The puck hit Murchison flush and fortunately for us an arena microphone caught the audio.
Murchison was able to shake it off, but he's definitely going to be feeling that one tomorrow. The Bruins went onto win the game improving their NHL best record to 16-2-0.
