Insider provides a visually of the long scary walk it takes to get to the Calgary Flames broadcast booth
As hockey fans we don't always get to see what happens behind the scenes at a hockey game. Some arenas or teams do allow tours where you can experience and see first-hand some of the things that you wouldn't see otherwise. Just recently the St Louis Blues posted a short video of what it takes to get to the broadcast booth at the Saddledome in Calgary. Hockey fans get a cool view of what it looks like. The short video is well worth watching.
In this video you can clearly see a walkway high in the rafters that each broadcaster takes to get to the booth. The high vertical view above the ice is very cool. It was also intriguing to see all the empty seats before game time. It really is amazing to see how high up these broadcasters sit during games. This journey would not go over well with people who are afraid of heights! I think most hockey fans would agree that this video is very unique and special to see. As fans, we would all like see further detail what it's like at arenas across the league.
