One thing's for sure, if John Tortorella has a message to send you, you're going to receive it. What you do about it is up to you.
Torts sent a very clear message to the Philadelphia Flyers'
Joel Farabee last night in the team's game against the New Jersey Devils. The game needed extra time to be decided. Farabee played a total of 0:56 seconds in the entire game.
Following the game, Tortorella was asked why Farabee sat for so long, and gave a classic Torts-like answer.
"I'm missing your question. Are you asking me why I sat Joel? Because he didn't listen. I'll answer your question that way."
Asked to elaborate, Torts responded with another classic.
"None of your business. Come on, guys, you know I'm no going to go there. If you want me to keep answering questions here, don't bring me into that spot."
My guess is Farabee knows exactly why, whether Tortorella had to directly tell him or not.
