Martin Brodeur signs contract to become Vice President of Hockey Ops for one of his former teams
Martin Brodeur is one of the best goalies to ever play the game of hockey. His 125 career shutouts and 691 career wins are two of the most unlikely records in the NHL to ever be broken. With goalies playing fewer games than ever it's likely Brodeur's name will forever remained etched in the record books.
With his playing career long behind him, Brodeur has turned his attention to a behind the scenes roll. Since hanging up his skates Brodeur has taken on roles with both the St. Louis Blues and New Jersey Devils. Unfortunately for Brodeur back in 2020 when then General Manager, Ray Shero was fired, Brodeur has his role with the team diminished.
Fast forward two years and the Devils have now agreed to terms with Brodeur on a brand new role.
NJ names Martin Brodeur Executive VP of Hockey Ops
Brodeur will bring a winning spirit and passion to this role desperately needed. The veteran knows exactly what it takes to win and what it means to be a proud member of the New Jersey Devils.
