Last night the Ottawa Senators took on the Vancouver Canucks at the Canadian Tire Centre, in what turned out to be a pretty heated affair. During the second period with just over 5 minutes left, Ottawa forward Austin Watson took on Vancouver defender Luke Schenn.
Watson is a huge fan of the rough stuff and isn't afraid of dropping the gloves. The only problem is, he's not very good at it. Again Tuesday night, Watson tried to spark his team by getting beat up.
To say Luke Schenn took that fight would be an understatement. Watson got his face caved in by Schenn and came back for more. It's honestly great to see someone like Watson with such heart, but I'm not sure he's ever won a fight.
The Ottawa Senators would go on to lose the game 6-4. So all in all not a great night for them, I'm sure Watson woke up this morning feeling some pretty nasty after effects as well
