Member of the Colorado Avalanche gets hilarious tattoo memorializing Stanley Cup victory
Nicolas Aube-Kubel will go down in NHL history as the guy who literally left his mark on the Stanley Cup during the on-ice celebration. Aube- Kubel dropped the trophy by hurrying to get to the traditional team photo.
That dented Stanley Cup is now forever etched on his skin. Notice the bottom of the Cup on Nicolas Aubé-Kubel's new tattoo.
Aube-Kubel wasn't lighting up the scoresheet, but he did prove immensely useful for a loaded Avalanche team in their ultimately successful quest for the dented Cup.
Aube-Kubel signed a one-year, $1 million contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs when free agency opened on July 13th.
