Mitch Marner shares something special he does for his dog, but soft fans try and make it something it isn't
If you follow Mitch Marner on any social media platform you'll know just how special his dog Zeus is to him. In his off time Marner spends as much time with his best friend as possible. Marner loves his dog so much he's begun writing the letter "Z" on his stick for Zeus.
This is a special gesture for a man and his dog. Nothing more and nothing less. Today Marner was asked about the letter during media availability and he gave the following answer:
That's my guy. He doesn't have a damn clue what I do for a living, doesn't have a damn clue what anyone thinks about me. He just loves me for being his dad and buzzing around outdoors with him.
This was meant to be just a nice gesture and it will continue to be, but some fans decided to take this amazing tribute and make it so much more than it was. Have a look..
