More proof that goalies get away with everything, Marc-Andre Fleury cheap shots Brendan Gallagher
Last year that NHL implemented a rule that any player who loses their helmet must immediately leave the ice. This has led to multiple incidents of players pulling off other's helmets forcing them to leave the ice. Last night was the most recent example of this.
As Brendan Gallagher charges towards the net he slips and falls into Marc-Andre Fleury. As Gallagher tried to stand up Fleury holds him down and eventually pulls off Gallagher's helmet. Despite looking directly at the action the referee decides to not call a penalty.
Gallagher was understandably furious with the official and let him have an earful on his way to the bench.
