Game 2 of the Cup Finals was a very one sided affair, with the Avalanche winning 7-0. Corey Perry appeared like the only member of the Lightning to take things personally, when he decided to take matters into his own hands.

After a scrum Perry intentionally kneeled on the leg of JT Compher. This appeared to be a clear attempt to injure.
After review it has been determined Perry will be a part of the lineup tonight and he will NOT face a fine or punishment for his actions.
Mr. Player Safety himself, George Parros, did not think there was probable cause for injury on this play. You have to be blind to not see the refs reaction and not ask for a hearing over the phone with Perry.
