NHL postpones another game after arena sustains significant damage
Earlier today the NHL and Nashville Predators announced that Bridgestone Arena had suffered significant damage to the event level of the building. This occured after a water main break had flooded a significant portion of the building.
The league had no choice but to postpone today's game between the Predators and Colorado Avalanche. But according to reports it was expected the league would be forced to postpone tomorrow's game as well. This afternoon the league made the announcement official.
Tomorrow's game between the Columbus Blue Jackets and Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena has been postponed due to the ongoing issues caused by a water main break that has significantly impacted the event level of the arena. A makeup date will be announced as soon as it can be confirmed.
Depending on the extent of the damage the league may be forced to postpone or relocate some games.
