NHL unveils their new rotating board advertisments and it's even worse than you expected
The NHL recently announced that they had implemented plans for new boards advertisements. These new boards would implement rotating board advertisments to provide an updated live experience. Fans shared their concerns about the ads changing during the play and never received any answers.
But as the NHL season kicked off today in Europe with a game between the San Jose Sharks and Nashville Predators, we finally got our first taste of the new boards.
The boards continue to change during the play adverting multiple items over the course of play. There have been no thoughts on what players think of these ads, but it is definitely distracting from the overall game.
