The sad news from the hockey world just keeps coming. Today it was announced by his sister, that former NHL player, Steve Jensen passed away. Jensen was only 67-years-old at the time of his passing on November 29th.
Jensen was one of the most underrated tough guys of his time, having notable fights with players like Tiger Williams. Jensen played 438 games split between the Minnesota North Stars and Los Angeles Kings.
Steve's sister Jill shared the following post about he brother.
Steve Jensen, my brother and Armstrong Alum class of 73' passed away on 11/29/22. Those who knew him know that hockey was his life! So proud of this guy for all that he accomplished over his lifetime and for the many lives that he touched in so many positive ways. He was such a strong, happy person and it's just so hard to believe that he's no longer with us. miss you and love you, my brother. RIP.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Jensen family and anyone impacted by his passing.
