Professional Women's Hockey League is set to open their inaugural season in January 2024, with training camps set to open this week.

The uniforms have been released, and to say they are underwhelming would be an understatement. All jerseys have the city name scribed diagonally across the chest. Teams will wear their dark jerseys at home and light jerseys on the road, similarly to what we see in the NHL.

"Our original six teams proudly represent some of North America's most-passionate hockey markets,» said Stan Kasten, PWHL Advisory Board member. «As we build our foundation and grow together this inaugural season, it's important that our markets be a focal point of our identity."

Canadian Tire Corporation, one of the league's initial partners, will have exclusive logo placement on shoulder patches of the league's three Canadian teams.

The masses online have already started to show their disapproval and rightfully so.

The PWHL definitely missed on this one.
