Nick Seeler loses his mind on the officials and gets ejected under questionable circumstances
Honestly one of the cooler things about watching a hockey game is anticipating a fight and tonight did not disappoint.
A delayed penalty was called during the second period of the game between the Detroit Red Wings and Philadelphia Flyers- before our very eyes the gloves were dropped and the boys were going at it. Nick Seeler of the Flyers and Christian Fischer of the Red Wings exchanged several punches before finally being separated; take a look.
Fischer was given a 2-minute penalty for hooking, while Seeler was given 2 minutes for instigating, 5 minutes for fighting, and a 10-minute misconduct. The arena erupted, Seeler was obviously pissed, came out of the box then got ejected, and all John Tortorella could do was shake his head.
Seeler rightfully lost his mind and was tossed for showing just how am they he was. Rightfully so as well. The disparity here is certainly something to behold.
It's just another night of professional hockey.
