After last year's disastrous showing at the Spengler Cup in Davos, Switzerland, Canada will be looking to bounce back in a big way and on Friday, named their roster for this year's tournament.

This year's roster has plenty of players with NHL experience with names like Aaron Dell between the pipes, Jordie Benn, Ty Smith, Nathan Beaulieu on defence, along with Derek Grant, Colton Sceviour and Josh Jooris up front.
"We are proud to unveil the 25 players who will wear the Maple Leaf at this year's Spengler Cup. This is a unique and exciting tournament, and we know these players will embrace the opportunity to compete for a historic championship," General Manager Joe Thornton said. "This is a skilled group that brings a variety of experience from the professional and international levels, and we believe this group will come together quickly and represent Canada with pride in Davos."
