Old time hockey, multiple fights in the first period as the Philadelphia Flyers take on the Ottawa Senators

First, Travis Konecny, takes on Jacob-Bernard-Docker and lands a pretty nice uppercut that puts Bernard-Docker down to invigorate some energy.

Then a few minutes later Mark Kastalic and Tony DeAngelo drop the gloves in a spirited tilt after Kastelic nailed DeAngelo along the bords

One thing is for certain, this isn't a tame first game for Claude Giroux back in Philadelphia, he's been in the middle of everything as well.

Both teams have settled into what seems to be a throw-back game and I for one could not be happier. It's nice to see some much needed emotion being injected into an afternoon game.
