Patrick Kane reportedly has 3 preferred destinations he'd accept a trade to
Patrick Kane still remains a member of the Chicago Blackhawks. That isn't due to lack of trying by at least a handful of NHL teams. But Kane made the decision this summer that he'd like to see how the season in Chicago began before allowing a trade.
According to Frank Seravelli of TDF that hasn't changed. Kane is still interested in seeing how the season begins before evaluating whether or not he'll accept a trade from the only franchise he's ever known. This situation seems to parallel that of Claude Giroux very closely.
One thing that Seravelli did reveal that hadn't previously been mentioned was that Kane reportedly has 3 preferred destinations.
On @DailyFaceoff today, @frank_seravalli says his reporting on possible Patrick Kane trades remains the same since July. Kane would prefer to wait until the season begins before making a decision on whether to accept a trade out of #Blackhawks or not. Mentions EDM, NYR, & TOR
With the preseason set to start in a month it will be interesting to see if any teams make a late push to add Kane and his Stanley Cup experience.
