Picture of Nazem Kadri's protective glove that's allowing him to play in the Cup Finals
Nazem Kadri is far from 100% healthy, but he wasn't going to miss out on the opportunity to play in the Stanley Cup Finals. And who could blame him? For many this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and you have to admire his heart.
20 days ago Kadri underwent surgery on his broken thumb. But when he decided that he wanted to play in the Finals the Avalanche training staff immediately went to work on fashioning a protective layer for Kadri's glove.
So what did they come up with?
It's clear Kadri is doing everything possible to play through, what must be excruciating pain. But the Avalanche equipment team have done a great job ensuring he can fit his cast in his glove.
