Police forced to breakup brawl after Canucks and Oilers fans lose their cool during season opener
It's official hockey is back and everything is right in the world. Jack Campbell was pulled halfway through the game and the Oilers went onto lose 8-1 in their first game of the season. Unfortunately, the off ice product was just as embarrassing when groups of Oilers and Vancouver Canucks fans began to fight in the crowd.
The cause of the fight is still a mystery, but it's almost guaranteed alcohol was involved. During the fight it appears drinks are being thrown before multiple people begin to exchange blows.
Police were forced to intervene to stop the fight and took multiple people into custody.
This makes it official, hockey is back.
