Price still requiring treatments to try and return to the NHL
After missing nearly the entire season it appears that Carey Price's health continues to be an issue. So much so that Price is trying many different procedures just to try and extend his career.
According to Eric Engels, Price has now gone through another procedure for his knee.
According to Engels, Price has opted to try PRP Injections. Platelet-Rich Plasma injections are starting to be a normal procedure to help accelerate the healing of injured tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints. With the early summer the Habs have been on, let's just hope this puts Price back to full duties and shows the world why he is the true #1 goalie in the world.
If Price is capable of returning there is a good chance the Canadiens attempt to move him to a contender while they continue their rebuild.
