I ran into the common entrance. I knew there were children living there, so I got them out first. I quickly emptied a fire extinguisher, then I saw the flames coming out of the kitchen.
After using the first extinguisher, Kristiansen ran down the street to his home to retrieve another extinguisher. Kristiansen was able to put out more flames before fire fighters arrived. In total 11 people were evacuated from the building thanks to Kristiansen. Police applauded Kristiansen for his help.

Kristiansen was taken to hospital for precautionary reasons, to ensure he hadn't suffered smoke inhalation but was given a clean bill of health.
I was in the right place at the right time. If I had arrived two minutes later, I think the whole building would have gone down.
