On Monday following the trade deadline, Ron Francis met with the Seattle media to discuss the moves his team made. The Seattle Kraken are at the bottom of the standings and were obviously looking to sell at the trade deadline. The most valuable player on the roster was captain, Mark Giordano. Giordano had a 10-team no-trade clause and the Seattle GM was worried this would limit the trading partners that he could work with.
