Scary scene as Pittsburgh Penguins prospect stretchered off the ice
Tonight our thoughts and prayers go out to Filip Hallander of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Late in the game Hallander was involved in a collision that sent him hard to the ice. As Hallander falls he lands heavily on his head and neck.
The incident occured with 1:12 left in the 3rd period and the Penguins trailing 4-2. Both teams came to an agreement that they would just end the game instead of continuing to play. Hallander was stretchered off the ice and the Penguins have opted to cancel their post game media availability.
Hopefully this is being done out of an abundance of caution and that Hallander is alright.
