Scary situation - Boston Bruins forward takes skate near the eye
Injuries are part of the game of hockey but this is something you never want to see. Late in tonight's game between the Boston Bruins and Chicago Blackhawks, Bruins forward Jakub Lauko appears to have suffered a horrific injury.
As Lauko falls near the boards a skate of a Blackhawks player comes up and catches him in the eye area. Lauko immediately clutches his face and is clearly in distress. As teammates call for medical assistance Lauko jumps to his feet and rushes to the Bruins room.
At this time there is no update on Lauko's condition.
