Senators' Jakob Chychrun Explains Why he Went Down the Tunnel with the Dallas Stars

Jakob Chychrun of the Ottawa Senators caused a bit of a stir yesterday when he went down the tunnel with members of the Dallas Stars at the end of a period. The Ottawa Senator has now explained why that happened.
Chychrun seemed totally oblivious to the fact that he was the only Senator in a sea of green jerseys while going to the dressing room. Many wondered if he was even engaged in the game, or just sick of playing for Ottawa.
Chychrun has decided to put any rumours to rest by saying he needed to meet the Stars team doctor at their dressing room for some repairs.
Former NHLer Marc Methot, who played for both Ottawa and Dallas during his career, also mentioned that it is much faster to get to the visitor's dressing room in Dallas by going the way Chychrun did, but away teams take a different route to avoid any potential issues.
"So, the Dallas set up is weird. The way Chychrun takes here is actually infinitely closer to the visitors dressing room.
