Social media responds to whether Evander Kane deserved tribute video from Sharks
Oh boy.. I don't know how this escaped me for almost 24 hours, but I'm just glad that I found this thread so I could share it with all of you.
The Edmonton Oilers were in San Jose to take on the Sharks on Monday and, of course, all of the talk was around how Evander Kane would be received in his first trip back to San Jose.
We didn't have to wait long for our answer, because the very first time Kane touched the puck, a chorus of boos rained down from the SAP Center in San Jose.
Sportsnet's Nick Alberga had tweeted out a question before the game as to whether or not Kane would receive a video tribute from the organization. Here are some of the best responses:
