Ben Stelter was an Edmonton Oilers Superfan and the Oilers did everything they could to make his time with the team special. They honoured him at every opportunity, made sure he attended as many games as possible and even provided him with his own special hockey card. The card was handed out to fans to help Ben live his dreams of being a member of the Oilers.
Unfortunately, Tuesday night Ben lost his battle with cancer. The Oilers immediately launched multiple tributes for Ben, but unfortunately some fans felt the need to try and exploit Ben's death.
The "fans" are attempting to sell the cards for upwards of $200, simply trying to capitalize on the passing of a child. This is a terrible look for these individuals and hopefully they don't find a buyer for these items.
