Tim Stutzle already in mid-season form after a patented hilarious dive
Tim Stutzle has already developed a reputation around the league for his patented embellishment penalties. Last season alone he was called out by multiple players for his diving. It appears though those lessons haven't stuck because tonight he's already up to his old tricks.
There is no question that Arber Xhekaj is a strong man, but he's definitely not this strong. As Stutzle approaches the net he skates towards Xhekaj who gives him a bit of a shove. Unfortunately for Stutzle he's sent through the air and to the ice.
The referees decide not to award a penalty to either player but it's clear Stutzle could have been called for the embellishment. Like Scott Matla says, have some respect Timmy it's preseason.
