Two heavyweights drop the gloves as Nick Foligno and Wayne Simmonds face off
The NHL's two top teams are facing off tonight in Boston as the Bruins host the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Maple Leafs only hope to possibly catch the Bruins is to try and take the season series and hope they get some help. With such an important game though comes a lot of passion.
That passion was on full display as Wayne Simmonds took his first shift of the game. As Simmonds threw a hit on Foligno, not players immediately began to posture before dropping the gloves. The two went at it in a lengthy tilt before they were finally broken up.
This could be a potential playoff second round preview and both teams are looking to set the tone for that series. The Leafs currently lead the game 1-0 after a powerplay goal.
