Wayne Gretzky shares one of the greatest Hockey Hall of Fame stories ever
Wayne Gretzky is the greatest hockey player of all time. His 2,857 points in 1,487 NHL games will be a record that may never be broken. The 62 year old currently works as an analyst on the NHL on TNT broadcast crew.
During the first intermission break of the Philadelphia Flyers and Carolina Hurricanes game on Wednesday night, Gretzky told a story of taking his son to visit the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Gretzky's son wanted to try the virtual hockey experience game and went 4-5. Next up was Wayne who surprisingly struggled going 0-3.
A young kid working the attraction at the Hockey Hall of Fame chimed in with some helpful advice to adjust how Wayne was holding the hockey stick.
Wayne was wearing a hat and sunglasses to try and disguise himself. His ability to blend in appeared to work since the kid didn't recognize him but his shooting skills must be a little rusty.
