Wild scrum leads to Nikita Zadorov threatening Jamie Benn at end of Game 6
Nikita Zadorov quickly made himself public enemy number for the Calgary Flames. Zadorov delivered a huge hit during the 2nd period that knocked Luke Glendening out of the game and put him into NHL concussion protocol. The Stars were clearly unhappy with the no call on the play and they did everything possible to make last night's game as difficult for Zadorov as possible.
With the Dallas Stars leading the game 4-2 late in the 3rd period, a scrum broke out behind the Star's net. Everyone on the ice got involved, including Zadorov. Zadorov got tangled up with both Anton Lundell and Vladislav Namestnikov, but neither Lundell or Namestnikov are known for their post whistle abilities. Zadorov ultimately lost his helmet and was eventually removed from the ice by a linesman.
On his way off the ice Zadorov engaged with the entire Dallas Stars bench, and more specifically Jamie Benn. Zadorov had one message for Benn ahead of Game 7.
I'm coming for you...I'm coming...
With Game 7 scheduled for Sunday in Calgary this rivalry is far from over.
