It looks like this is the end of the line for the Arizona Coyotes and one of their forwards. According to an insider, the player will hit waivers later today for the purpose of a contract termination.

Elliotte Friedman says Adam Ruzicka will go on unconditional waivers today.
"We will get clarity closer to waivers in an hour, but expectation is Arizona is going to waive Adam Ruzicka for the purposes of contract termination."

While the Coyotes have yet to make an official statement on it, a video surfaced on social media earlier today where Ruzicka appeared to be showing off a stash of illicit substances. The now deleted video showed Ruzicka with a container in his mouth that looked to be holding a powdery substance. It was never said in the video what the substance was, instead, Ruzicka simply grinned at the camera with the container in his mouth and then it cuts off.
This would not be the first time the Coyotes have terminated the contract of a player involved in illegal activities. Alex Galchenyuk was let go before the 2023-24 season even got underway after a police report came to light that contained deals of a accident that included driving under the influence and threatening a police officer. Ruzicka has only been with the Coyotes since Jan. 225 after being picked up off waivers from the Calgary Flames.
