On Friday night, the end of the dollars played their best game of the season. The orders defeated the Colorado Avalanche by a score of 6-2 in what could end up being a preview of the Western Conference final. Saturday night the Oilers were back in action against the Calgary Flames.

With the two teams going in opposite directions, the Oilers are looking to round into playoff form while Calgary is simply looking to play up the stretch. Getting yourself prepared for the playoffs also means ensuring that your game is at the top level. That's why on Saturday night, when Evander Kane made a lazy turnover that veteran forward linemate Corey Perry lost his cool.
moments after the big scrum at the end of the second, corey perry remained pretty upset, slamming the bench door.

then, he has a cordial conversation with evander kane.

During the intermission former NHLer Kevin Bieksa breaks down the play that set Perry off. While Perry is known for being fiery with the opposition, he's not often known for showing this sort of emotion publicly towards teammates.
Rumors have already begun to swirl about Evander Kane's future in Edmonton and how the team could look to move him this summer. With reported incidents behind the scenes as well as two public exchanges with teammates towards him, it seems inevitable. With the Oilers finally looking to break through in the playoffs plays like this and draw between teammates will only be a detriment to that.
