The Edmonton Oilers look poised to have a deep playoff run this year after getting off to a rather rocky start. One thing the Oilers have always struggled with though is their depth, either because they're too up against the salary cap, or just bad signings and trades in general. If they're to add some much needed depth, they'll go far when
it matters.
With that in mind, it looks like the Oilers have their eye on some much needed depth scoring and grit. According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, two names that have been connected to Edmonton are Anaheim Ducks forwards Sam Carrick and Adam Henrique; take a look.
Either way, both players would help the Oilers tremendously, if they came to the Oilers as a package deal, the would be a lot tougher to beat.
