Just under an hour before the Montreal Canadiens take on the Calgary Flames, the Canadiens have announced that head coach Martin St Louis will not be behind the bench as he steps away for family reasons; take a look.
Canadiens head coach Martin St-Louis will be away from the team for family reasons.
This comes very suddenly and St Louis has been granted an indefinite leave with no timeline on when he'll return to the team.
As a result, assistant coach Trevor Letowski will be behind the bench tonight and going forward until St Louis returns.
From everyone at Blade of Steel and Gloves Off Hockey, we hope that everything is okay with the St Louis family. Thoughts are with them
