The Florida Panthers and New York Rangers are in the middle of playing game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final and early on, officials are showing favouritism.

It's no secret that the National Hockey League has had a problem with the officiating for sometime now, but it's been more egregious during the Stanley Cup playoffs.
During the first period of game three between the Florida Panthers and New York Rangers the play with stopped for no reason after Sam Reinhart goes down on a routine hit from Jacob Trouba Stopping the Rangers chance during a 4 on 2; take a look.
Refs stop #NYR with a 4 on 2. No reason for the stoppage.
There was no reason for the officials on the ice to stop this play. Reinhard did go down, but it was not a serious injury and in fact he wanted to stay out on the face off and they wouldn't let him because they stopped the play due to an injury, this obviously costed New York Scoring chance, and had everybody on the Rangers bench upset.
I don't like complaining about the officiating, but this is one of the most obvious cases of favouritism that you can make. There was absolutely no reason to stop this play.
At the end of the first period, the game is tied 2-2.
